Reinforcing Steel

R-TECH is fully equipped for all of the standard tests performed on reinforcing steels. Testing is available to a number of standards, including BS4449, ISO 15630 and EN 10002. Standard tests include:   
     
- Tensile testing (up to 40mm diameter)

- Fatigue testing (up to 40mm diameter)

- Bend and rebend testing (up to 40mm diameter)

- Bond testing (BS 4449 Annex A)

- Weld shear testing

- Sample geometry

- Metallography

- Weld assessment (BS 7123)

- Hardness testing
   
     
R-TECH Services has UKAS accreditation for all of the above test procedures.    
     
Testing is not restricted to any particular national standard. R-TECH has the capability of testing any standard reinforcing steel according to any national or international standard. Examples are:

- ASTM A615 (USA)

- DIN 488 (Germany)

- NFA 35-016 (France)

- UNE 36-068 (Spain)

     
In addition to testing standard reinforcing steels, R-TECH can also conduct tests on:
